He was nominated for the David Payne-Carter Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2019. Most recently, he taught at the GRAMMY® Museum’s inaugural Summer Sessions in New York City.

Errico’s book, Music, Lyrics, and Life (Backbeat), explores the intersection of songwriting and personal experiences, offering readers insights into the creative process.
